What makes a nightclub bar popular?

When looking at the top ten nightclubs in London, it was clear what made the bar area striking. A strong, vibrant, colourful bar area, alerts customers to where they need to be and can be one of the defining features of that place. At Counterfit, we know the importance of your business and make bespoke counters for not just nightclubs but wine bars, food service counters, delicatessens, coffee shops and bakeries. We take into consideration exactly what it is you want from your counter before producing a CAD, allowing you to see exactly what it will look like when it is in your establishment. It also gives you a chance to let us know of any changes you would like prior to it being installed.

lit up barWhen opening up a nightclub, or even just refurbishing the one that you already own, it is important to know what it is that will attract customers to your business. The bar area and dance floor are the two most important features in a night club and you need to be sure that your bar has people wanting to come back. The most well-known clubs in London, such as Ministry of Sound and Fabric all have very sleek, smooth bars, with light up panels at the bottom. This is also apparent in some of the work that we have carried out at Counterfit. Warehouse 23, for example is a nightclub in Wakefield. They had inherited a shop fitted, wooden bar counter for their re-opening and we were called to transform this surface into a durable, attractive work surface. We did this by covering the existing worktop in stainless steel. This made the bar stand out as the light would catch on the stainless steel surface, but it also creates a smooth surface, which is another popular feature. The Studio in Clapham, shows how light can create a unique eye catching bar. We created a sleek, smooth bar surface, similar to Warehouse 23; however, we added colour changing LED back-lit frosted glass panels to the bottom. As these are colour changing the quartz in the tiles sparkle, it is constantly drawing people’s attention to the bar area. Not only that, but in a dark nightclub, it creates an attractive finish.
